Nate Anderson brings over 13 years of operations and maintenance leadership experience across industrial services, energy infrastructure, and high-horsepower equipment platforms. He most recently served as Vice President of Maintenance for NexTier, one of the largest completions providers in the U.S., where he was responsible for a 3MM HP fleet of conventional and e-frac equipment and supported more than $3B in annual revenue across operations in every major shale region. Prior to that, he held several operations leadership roles with full P&L responsibility at Alamo Pressure Pumping and FTS International, overseeing engineering, logistics, field execution, and equipment performance. At Alamo, he played a key role in the company’s growth into a leading West Texas service provider and helped position the business for acquisition. He has led large-scale teams, executed technical initiatives in fast-paced field environments, and built systems to support long-term operational reliability. Nate began his career in the Navy, working on shipboard power generation and propulsion systems, including mechanical drives, diesel engines, and gas turbines. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
Richard Townsend has spent over 15 years designing, building, and maintaining complex oilfield equipment through every phase of its lifecycle. He began his career at Stewart & Stevenson, fabricating complete frac units from raw materials through final assembly, including structural, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. He later joined AFGlobal to commission and support fielded fleets. At ProPetro, he was responsible for the maintenance and reliability of 20 active fleets totaling more than 1 million HHP, managing operations across two major service centers. He led capital equipment negotiations, standardized maintenance programs, introduced performance metrics, and developed SOPs that shaped one of the industry’s most efficient fleet operations at the time. As co-founder and CEO of TEAM Refurb, Richard built a high-performing team from the ground up, fostered a culture of grit, and secured strategic partnerships with leading oilfield service companies. His deep technical knowledge and relentless focus on quality helped grow TEAM into a $15M+ annualized business with a strong reputation for capability and turnaround speed. Richard holds a Diesel Technology degree from TSTC.
Richard Wegner brings over a decade of oilfield leadership experience across operations, finance, and safety. He began his career with Basic Energy Services (Basic) in 2012, holding roles of increasing responsibility in the Finance and Safety functions, including Director of Budget Analysis (FP&A) and Director of Safety Compliance, before becoming Vice President of Quality, Health, Safety & Environment. Richard later transitioned into an operations leadership role within Basic — and subsequently Ranger Energy Services — where he was responsible for all aspects of a $50MM P&L, spanning seven physical locations, more than 300 employees, and business lines including well servicing, water logistics, rentals, fishing tools, and 24-hour drillout operations. In 2022, he partnered with Richard Townsend to launch TEAM Refurb and Support — a self-funded startup focused on the refurbishment, repair, and fabrication of high-spec oilfield equipment such as frac pumps, cementing units, and blenders. Under their joint leadership, TEAM Refurb scaled from a two-person shop operating out of a 2,500 ft² facility to a 50+ employee business based out of a 55,000 ft² campus in Odessa. Before entering the energy industry, Mr. Wegner served as an Infantry Officer in the United States Marine Corps. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Southern Methodist University.
William Clayton serves as Director of Sales for both AmpTerra and TEAM Refurb and Support. He brings over five years of experience in power generation and oilfield equipment sales, with a focus on delivering tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of industrial operators. Prior to joining AmpTerra and TEAM, William held sales roles at Stewart & Stevenson, Accurate Inc., and Grizzly Manufacturing, where he supported clients across Texas on conventional frac equipment, early e-frac platforms, and packaged power solutions for field operations. Known for his follow-through and ability to navigate complex projects, William has supported both new build and refurbishment efforts from concept through execution. At AmpTerra and TEAM, he leads business development across natural gas, turbine, and industrial power applications, while also supporting conventional completions equipment projects and rebuild programs.
